Transportation Minister Shaul Mofaz said Tuesday that the objectives of the war in Lebanon this past summer were not achieved, since Israel did not succeed in disarming Hizbullah or retrieving kidnapped reservists Ehud Goldwasser and Eldad Regev, Israel Radio reported.
Mofaz, speaking at a conference in Nesher, also expressed hope that there would be no elections in the next two years.
