Mother, 2 daughters wounded in Holon shooting

A woman and her two young daughters were wounded in an unusual drive-by shooting attack Tuesday evening that police believe was a case of mistaken identity. At around 7:30 p.m. on Rehov Yehuda Hanasi in Holon, a mother and her two daughters, aged 15 and four, were injured by gunshots fired from a nearby vehicle. All three were taken to Wolfson Medical Center in good condition. Initial investigation reveals that the shots were fired after, on a nearby street, an argument erupted between two drivers. A few minutes after the argument, police suspect, one of the drivers returned to the area and, while driving, opened fire in the direction where he believed that the second driver was located. Instead of hitting the other driver, however, the shots hit the woman and two girls. A police officer who happened to be passing by saw the three wounded women and took them to Wolfson, later returning to the scene of the shooting to aid in the investigation.
