Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu held telephone conversations with British Prime Minister Gordon Brown and US Mideast envoy George Mitchell on Monday night, the day after his policy address at Bar Ilan University.
Earlier Monday night, Netanyahu spoke at length with Angela Merkel, and the German chancellor invited the prime minister to visit the country in the near future.
Brown's office said the British prime minister had stressed to Netanyahu that Israel must completely stop all construction in settlements so that the peace process can move forward.
