By ETGAR LEFKOVITSIsrael does not have a Palestinian partner for peace and the Palestinian society has been overtaken by the forces of terror and radicalism, Likud leader Binyamin Netanyahu said Sunday.
"The Palestinian society is dysfunctional and in collapse. It has been overtaken by the forces of terror and radicalism," Netanyahu told an international conference of Jewish parliamentarians meeting in Jerusalem.
The hawkish Likud leader, who is running for prime minister in the March 28 elections, lambasted what he called the "massive failure" of moderation and pluralism in Palestinian society.
The three-day gathering of the "International Council of Jewish Parliamentarians," which is being sponsored by the World Jewish Congress in coordination with the Knesset and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, includes senators, MPs, Ministers, and Lords from 28 countries around the world.
