Netanyahu: Olmert refuses to take responsibility for Second Lebanon War
By GIL STERN STERN HOFFMAN
Opposition Leader Binyamin Netanyahu blasted Prime Minister Ehud Olmert on Monday, saying that he refuses to take responsibility for the failures that occurred during the Second War in Lebanon.
"The PM doesn't understand what the reservists know," Netanyahu said. "Everyone else took
responsibility and just one man, the prime minister, who is at the top, refuses to take
responsibility."
Netanyahu added that he welcomed Defense Minister Ehud Barak's statement that the diplomatic level was responsible for the war, and urged the Labor chairman to keep his
promise and quit the government after the publication of the final Winograd report.
