Likud Chairman Binyamin Netanyahu declared on Friday that a broad-scale ground incursion into the Gaza Strip was necessary for ensuring the security of Israeli civilians.
Speaking during a visit to Sderot, Netanyahu said that "only painful blows to the Gaza Strip will bring about an end to the Kassam fire at Israel."
