Netanyahu tour in Jerusalem market cut short by security threats

An electioneering tour by Likud leader Binyamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem's Mahane Yehuda market was cut short because of the heavy security measures taken.
Against his wish, Netanyahu was instructed by the Shin Bet to wear a bullet proof vest. The Shin Bet conditioned authorizing Netanyahu's tour on his agreeing to wear the vest.
Sources in Netanyahu's headquarters said that the Shin Bet's department in charge of security of important persons told them the extra security measures were related to the fact that Wednesday was the one-year anniversary of the killing of Hizbullah leader Imad Mughniyeh.
The organization accuses Israel of being responsible for the assassination.
