'No one knows how to fix the flaws more than PM'

"No one knows how to fix the flaws exposed during the war more than Prime Minister Ehud Olmert," former justice minister Meir Sheetrit (Kadima)said Tuesday morning. Nevertheless, Sheetrit told Army Radio that although the Winograd Committee's interim report did not contain an explicit call for the prime minister to resign, several Kadima MKs had hinted that he must step down. Indeed, other Kadima MKs said Tuesday morning that the end of Olmert's reign was only a matter of time. "We'll let Olmert draw his own conclusions but it is very clear to all of us that the conclusions of the Winograd report spell the end of his political career," Army Radio quoted the MKs as saying.
