Olmert adviser: Yitzhaki can't remain in gov't

Olmert's strategic adviser, Tal Zilberstein, warned on Wednesday that Yitzhaki would not be able to continue in his position after making such comments. In an interview with Army Radio, Zilberstein said the coalition chairman was working for the personal interests of opposition leader Binyamin Netanyahu. "When the coalition chairman acts this way against the prime minister, he doesn't need to have this job," he said. "After such serious comments, I think the prime minister will make it clear to him that he has no place in this government."
