Prime Minister Ehud Olmert announced Thursday that the government will immediately begin reinforcing homes in the southern town of Sderot and Gaza satellite communities, at a cost of NIS 300 million, to protect them from possible Kassam rocket attacks.
According to Olmert, in the first stage of the plan homes that are more susceptible to Kassam strikes will be reinforced, followed by the remaining homes and schools.
