Olmert's chief of staff Yoram Turbowicz announces his resignation

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's chief of staff Yoram Turbowicz announced his resignation on Thursday.
Turbowicz, who has been partaking in indirect negotiations between Israel and Syria in Turkey, agreed to Olmert's request to continue to handle various diplomatic issues, and will serve as special adviser to the prime minister in an unofficial capacity.
