One wounded as ax-wielding terrorist strikes out at passers-by in Rehovot

An ax-wielding Palestinian struck and lightly wounded a 17-year-old Israeli on Rehovot's Herzl Street on Friday afternoon. The 20-year-old Jenin resident began shouting in Arabic, "God is great" while striking out with his ax. He managed to wound one person before police arrested him. Police said it appeared that the terror attack was carried out to avenge the death of the terrorist's friend, killed by the IAF in Gaza.
