Open House asks to hold Gay Pride Parade in J'lem

The Open House made a request on Sunday that the Israel Police allow them to hold a Gay Pride Parade in Jerusalem. Ayelet Snur, head of Open House, said that the event, which is scheduled to take place this June, is intended as an event for the gay community and as a demonstration of human rights. Snur commented on the importance of such an event in light of the violent outbreaks related to last year's event.
