Or Yarok road safety organization: Budget cuts are a death sentence

The government's decision to cut NIS 200 million from the budget of Or Yarok, an organization promoting road safety, is tantamount to "signing a death sentence" for the organization, Israel Radio quoted Or Yarok Directer-General Shmuel Abuav as saying Sunday.
The cutback in the organization's budget is part of a cross-platform budget cut slated for the fiscal year of 2009.
