Paz-Pines hails Barak decision to stop being 'draft-dodgers' rubber stamp'

MK Ophir Paz-Pines praised Defense Minister Ehud Barak's decision on Thursday to "stop serving as a rubber stamp for tens of thousands of yeshiva students' draft-dodging."
"I hope this is not a gimmick, but a strategic process," he said. "There is no escape from overturning the Tal law [that postpones army service for yeshiva students], and I intend to bring before the Knesset a bill to overturn it."
