Defense Minister Amir Peretz said Sunday that the government was holding secret talks for the release of IDF soldiers who were kidnapped or missing in action.
At the annual ceremony for soldiers whose burial place is unknown, held at Mt. Herzl, Peretz said that "it is our holy duty to bring our kidnapped and missing sons home. We are holding secret talks with certain contacts. We are negotiating with all authorities with determination and responsibility to bring our sons back home."
