Defense Minister Amir Peretz criticized the way in which Prime Minister Ehud Olmert was implementing his intention to change the governmental system, adding that the Labor Party would not be prepared to be "dragged" into supporting the proposal.
"If he wants to make a change, the coalition agreement determines that there needs to be an agreement between all factions," he exclaimed.
"If someone wants to choose to do this in any other way, we will also choose for ourselves partners to bring about changes which we support," Peretz said.
