The High Court of Justice rejected on Thursday a petition by the Movement for Quality Government objecting to President Shimon Peres's decision to grant clemency to former Likud MK Naomi Blumenthal, who was convicted on charges of bribery.
Peres commuted Blumenthal's jail sentence in favor of the former legislator completing several months of community service.
