Photos show Bar-On double-voting in Knesset

The Knesset double-voting scandal hit the headlines once again on Monday morning as Yediot Aharonot published photos taken in May 2003 which show Ronnie Bar-On, now finance minister and then a Likud MK, registering his own vote and then leaning over the empty chair of fellow MK Inbal Gavrieli and voting for her, too. It came minutes after Likud MK Yehiel Hazan had also voted instead of Gavrieli during the reading of a financial bill. Hazan was sentenced to four months community service and given a two-month suspended jail sentence for his actions.
