PM expresses support for Washington-Teheran talks

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said Monday that he was not opposed to negotiations between Washington and Teheran, if it they were destined to bring about a compromise on Iran's nuclear program. "Any compromise that will block the Iranian plans to attain nuclear weapons, if it is acceptable to Bush it will also be acceptable to me," said Olmert during an interview on NBC's Today program. Olmert is scheduled to meet with US President George W. Bush at the White House Monday morning.
