PM Olmert met with Binyamin Netanyahu Sunday

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert met with Likud Chairman Binyamin Netanyahu Sunday. The meeting remained a secret, and Likud MKs expressed their amazement over the fact that Netanyahu did not apprise them of the meeting. Netanyahu denied Monday that he had negotiated with Olmert over the possibility that Likud would enter the government, with Netanyahu himself receiving the Finance portfolio. Netanyahu's office confirmed that a meeting had taken place but said that the two had discussed political issues pertaining to the Sharm e-Sheikh summit and reviewed their respective trips to the US.
