In an interview to Israel Radio on Sunday, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert assured a solution to the problem of non-payment of workers' salaries by local authorities would be put forth within the week.
The comment came following Olmert's personal intervention to cancel the general public strike planned for February 28 by the Histadrut Labor Federation in opposition to the withholding of wages.
