An Or Yehuda resident and a Kiryat Ono resident were arrested Monday on suspicion of selling old cars that had been badly damaged in accidents as news.
According to Israel Radio, a two-month undercover investigation revealed that the two would buy damaged vehicles, have them fixed in the Palestinian Authority, and turn back the odometers.
Police intended to ask the court to extend the suspects' remand.
