Beersheba police were investigating Thursday afternoon a soldier's claim that he was abducted by masked men on his way from his base to his home in the city.
The soldier told police that he had been taken to the Beduin village Tel Sheva, where he was held in one of the village homes before managing to escape and reach his parents' home.
The army said that it was investigating the event.
