By YAAKOV LAPPIN
Police in Ashdod have shut down a bar for 30 days after a customer received burns during the setting alight of an alcoholic beverage and his girlfriend was assaulted with a bottle by a barwoman.
The incident took place on Sunday, when an employee of the Seniora bar set ablaze a drink known as the B-52, causing first and second degree burns to a customer sitting nearby. When the burn victim's girlfriend protested to a barwoman, the latter smashed a bottle on her face, fracturing the woman's eye socket.
Both customers required hospital care. The investigation continues.
