Police to request restraining order on Salah

Police will request the Jerusalem Magistrates' Court on Thursday to issue a restraining order against Sheikh Raed Salah, the leader of the Islamic Movement's northern branch, and five others, who were arrested earlier for trying to force their way into the area where an archeological excavation is underway near the Temple Mount. Salah was one of seven Israeli Arabs detained by police near the Dung Gate on suspicion of attacking police officers.
