Prime minister to address Knesset plenum on final Winograd report
By JPOST.COM STAFF
Prime Minister Ehud Olmert will address the Knesset plenum on Monday in a special session concerning the final Winograd report.
At the end of the session, during which opposition leader Binyamin Netanyahu will also speak, the Knesset will vote on whether or not to accept Olmert's statement. It was unclear whether the prime minister would indeed have a majority in the vote.
While a rejection would have no practical consequences, it would nevertheless be a blow to Olmert, particularly if members of the coalition are among the opposers.
