Public Security Minister Aharanovitch: I'll fight any cut to police budget

Public Security Minister Yitzhak Aharanovitch has said he will fiercely challenge any proposal to cut the police budget.
Speaking during a ceremony to inaugurate a new Tel Aviv police chief, Aharanovitch said police faced daily challenges which required complex preparations in terms of recruitment, intelligence, and enforcement.
"There is a need to increase the police's budget," Aharonovitch added.
