Report: Friedmann may urge pardon for Blumenthal

Justice Minister Daniel Friedmann is seriously considering recommending that former MK Naomi Blumenthal be pardoned, Channel 2 reported on Monday. Blumenthal was sentenced to eight months in prison after she was convicted in February 2006 of charges that she had rented rooms for Likud central committee members at the Sheraton City Tower Hotel Ramat Gan on the evening of a party primary vote and later tampered with witnesses.
