Report: Syria intervened in Israel-Hizbullah neogtiations

"Syria invested great efforts in the negotiations being conducted between Israel and Hizbullah over a prisoner swap," the London-based Asharq Alawsat quoted Israeli officials as saying.
The sources confirmed that Israel is set to release five Lebanese prisoners, including Samir Kuntar, and bodies of ten Hizbullah terrorists.
