Right-wingers condemned on Sunday evening the appointment of private attorney Hanan Meltzer to the Supreme Court, Army Radio reported.
Far-right activist Itamar Ben-Gvir said that the appointment proved once again that only leftists and those with the appropriate world-view get accepted into the Supreme Court.
Almagor, the organization for terror victims, also slammed the choice, saying in a press release that the appointment of Meltzer, who served as an adviser to the Labor party, constituted a new peak in the politicization of the court, which has lost any shame it had left.
