Ronnie Ron, accused of killing his granddaughter Rose Pizem and dumping her body in the Yarkon River, said Thursday he was pleased the body was eventually discovered.
"I am happy they found it." Ron told his lawyer before a remand extension hearing at a Ramle court, a week after Rose's body was discovered by divers.
Police have submitted a request to extend the remand of Ron, the chief suspect in the case, and Rose's mother, Marie Pizem, by five days.
