Schalit campaign leaders set to convene and plot out next move

The leaders of the campaign for the release of Gilad Schalit were set to convene Wednesday morning in order to plot out their next move following Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's announcement Tuesday that negotiations with Hamas over the kidnapped soldier release had effectively failed. Several of the members of the campaign were of the opinion that Schalit's parents, Noam and Aviva should leave the protest tent they had pitched across from the Prime Minister's Residence, while others said that they should remain there at least until the conclusion of Olmert's term.
