Settlers begin building illegal home in El Matan outpost

Settlers on Sunday morning began building an illegal home in the El Matan outpost in Samaria, where several illegal structures have been erected in recent months.
Ahead of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's meeting with US President Barack Obama in Washington, West Bank settlers are calling on the premier not to make any commitment to the Americans to freeze construction in the settlements.
"I believe that Netanyahu won't compromise on building in the settlements, despite American pressure," said a confident Danny Dayan, head of the Council of Jewish Communities in Judea and Samaria (Yesha), to Army Radio on Sunday morning.
