Seven Shuafat residents arrested on suspicion of kidnapping

Seven residents of the Shuafat refugee camp have been arrested on suspicion of kidnapping, police announced Monday. The suspects would allegedly identify themselves as Palestinian police, threading and kidnapping east Jerusalem residents. Two of the men were remanded for three further days at a Jerusalem Magistrate's Court hearing, while the other two were released with restrictions. In addition, a Jewish resident from a neighborhood near Jerusalem was arrested on suspicion selling bullets to the suspects.
