Shas MK Haim Amsalem, who was caught earlier this week at Ben-Gurion International Airport with a suitcase containing $40,000 in cash, will be fined but not charged, Israel Radio reported on Thursday evening.
Attorney-General Menahem Mazuz and State Prosecutor Eran Shendar allowed the Israel Tax Authority to act in this instance as it would in similar situations, the report said.
