Social security services were to go on strike Wednesday morning protesting the Finance Ministry's unilateral decision to cancel a financial incentive added to workers' monthly salaries to discourage tardiness.
Ariel Yaacobi, head of the government workers' union, called the Finance Ministry's supposed cancellation of the incentive ridiculous, as, according to Yaacobi, it doesn't save the government a single Shekel, Army Radio reported.
