State comptroller Micha Lindenstrauss has decided to examine the operations of the Central Elections Committee and the local elections committee before and during the upcoming March 28 elections, it was reported Thursday.
Lindenstrauss sent a letter to Central Elections Committee chair Supreme Court Justice Dorit Beinish, in which he explained his decision.
Elections have not been examined by a state comptroller in a decade.
