'The Pensioners aren't in the pocket of any party'

Yaakov Ben Yizri, number 2 on the Gil Pensioners' Party list, denied vehemently to a Channel 1 interviewer that his party had already reached agreements with other political parties on a possible coalition. "There has been no contact, we're not in the pocket of ANY party!" Ben Yizri declared. "No promises have been made to anyone," he repeated. Gil has thus far been the surprise of the election, winning between six and eight mandates.
