Top lawyer charged with negligent homicide

Dori Klagsbald was indicted on Thursday at the Magistrates' Court in Tel Aviv on charges of negligent homicide and reckless driving. Klagsbald, a senior lawyer who had in the past represented such figures as former Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, was involved three months earlier in a car accident that killed Yevegenia Wexler and her six-year-old son, Arthur. The April 11 accident occurred when Klagsbald, driving down Derech Namir, smashed into the Wexlers' car at a red light.
