Train spotters held for doing drugs on the job

Two Israel Railways spotters were arrested Thursday in Beit Shemesh for using drugs on the job, police said. The two drugged suspects, who are in their 20s, were apprehended in the pre-dawn raid by a major thoroughfare at the entrance to Beit Shemesh. A total of 20 grams of hashish were found in their possession. One of the suspects has a past criminal record for drug use, the police said. The two spotters were arrested near the scene of last month's train crash in which a train rammed into a bulldozer that got stuck on the tracks lightly injuring 31 passengers.
