Transit police officers in Tel Aviv and around Haifa arrested 19 intoxicated drivers throughout Tuesday evening.
In one of the incidents a driver's friend was arrested after attempting to bribe a police officer with 2000nis so that the driver would not be arrested, Army Radio reported.
