Transport Min.: Headlights on during day on intercity roads from Thursday

Starting Thursday, drivers must turn their headlights on along intercity roads during the day as well, the Transportation Ministry said in a statement Wednesday.
All vehicle types must abide by the regulation, which will remain in effect until March 31, 2008.
Buses, taxis, and trucks with heavy loads must keep their headlights on along intracity roads as well during the winter months.
Scooters must keep their headlights on at all times throughout the year.
The fine for violations will be NIS 100 and two points on one's license.
