Dozens of army troops accompanied by an army doctor arrested before dawn Friday an injured Palestinian in a West Bank hospital, the hospital said.
The Palestinian, Jawad Qaabi, had been seriously wounded with bullet wounds to the stomach during an IDF operation in Nablus last month, said a doctor, Tarif Abu Salah, at the El Anjili Hospital in the city.
The army did not immediately comment on the incident. Military officials said that the wounded man was taken to a medical facility in Israel. They spoke on condition of anonymity since they were not authorized to speak to the press.
The army doctor asked Abu Salah for details on Qaabi's condition and his medical file before the troops removed the injured man from the hospital, Abu Salah said.
