UK helicopter makes emergency landing in Israel

A British military helicopter made an emergency landing at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv on Saturday, an air traffic monitor said. Micky Gurdus, who monitors air traffic for Israeli broadcasters, said the Royal Air Force helicopter made the landing in the morning. He said none of the seven people on board was hurt. Gurdus said the pilot was worried he'd lose control of the helicopter after experiencing some technical problems and asked to make the emergency landing. It was not immediately clear where the helicopter came from or where it was headed.
