UN snubs Lebanon's call to impose ceasefire on IDF

The UN Security Council rejected overnight Saturday Lebanon's request to enforce a ceasefire on Israel.
US envoy to the UN Adam Bolton said that the Security Council would not debate the current conflict between Israel and Lebanon since the situation was being discussed at the G8 summit in Russia.
