American soldiers are suspected of raping a 14-year-old girl on an Israeli air force base, Channel 10 reported on Wednesday evening. Last month, IAF soldiers were accused of having done the same thing at the Nevatim Base , where the girl's father was serving. The report included the testimonies of several soldiers on the base, which claimed that the American soldiers were having sex with the teen. Some of them reportedly paid Israeli soldiers for the "privilege" of sleeping with the girl, according to one of the witnesses. The soldiers were reportedly unaware of the girl's age. Testimonies also claimed that the girl's parents were aware of what was happening, as were other soldiers on the base. No arrests were made since the story was initially discovered a few weeks ago, and no charges were brought. An IDF spokesperson stated that there was still an ongoing investigation, and therefore the army had no comment on the matter. The initial version of the story reported that close to 30 IDF troops from the Nevatim Base were suspected of raping and having illegal sexual relations with the 14-year-old girl, the daughter of a career military air force serviceman. The sexual relations, the air force's legal counsel said Sunday, began a year and a half ago when the girl was 13. Under interrogation, the soldiers confessed to having sex with the minor, but claimed that she told them she was 16 - a legal age for sex - and was preparing to enlist in the IDF. The army said that the girl began the relationship with the soldiers while she lived in a nearby city, before moving to the base itself a year ago.
