A 75-year-old woman stabbed by her husband in the middle of the Malha Mall in Jerusalem on Tuesday evening died of her wounds several hours later.
The wife and husband, 77, were apparently separated and met by chance at the mall. Police reported that the couple started to argue about how to divide their property between them, when the husband pulled out a knife and stabbed his wife in the chest.
A worker at a nearby store restrained the man and police arrived at the scene.
The woman was evacuated to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital where she later died of her wounds.
