Reacting to the announcement of State Prosecutor Menahem Mazuz that Prime Minister Ehud Olmert requested from Defense Minister Amir Peretz a plan for evacuating illegal outposts in the West Bank, the Yesha Council said that such a move could be avoided through negotiations.
"This is a very strange announcement, given that the prime minister knows definitively that it is possible to find a solution on the issue of outposts through negotiations with the leaders of the settlements," the Yesha Council said.
