Yigal Amir stopped from becoming father

The High Court of Justice on Monday issued a temporary order preventing former prime minister Yitzhak Rabin's murderer Yigal Amir and his partner Larissa Trimbobler from beginning the artificial insemination process, Army Radio reported. Amir petitioned the court for permission to have a child with Trimbobler, and civil rights groups in Israel hailed the Prison Service's decision to allow Amir, imprisoned for life, to become a father.
